Final Design 1: Linen paper-bag waist trousers, purple knit tank top and gathered grey knit scarf 

 Final Design 2: High-waisted printed linen trousers, green ruffle front tank top and fitted blazer with rouched sleeves  

 Final Design 3: Printed strapless button down jumpsuit and linen trench style coat with velvet lapel and sleeve cuffs

 Final Design 4: Printed knit cape coat with ribbed knit band and collar, and purple knit and brown velvet paneled leggings

 Final Design 5: Grey knit blazer with peter pan collar and gathered sleeves, pink chiffon ruffle trim blouse and high waisted pleated front trousers

Colour Tests

Very bad colouring in terms of staying within the lines but I'm just testing to see which colour combinations work the best for my final designs, from my chosen colour palette.

Colour Palette

The colour palette for my collection consists of mostly brown for the majority of the tailored pieces e.g. jackets and trousers, with an even amount of purple, pink and green coming through in the softer ruffle tops which are worn underneath the tailored pieces. There is also some grey in the collection in the knit/jersey pieces. 

Fabrics

The fabrics i have chosen for my collection are shown in the photos above. For my tailored pieces i have chosen a velvet and a linen in brown. Then for my softer pieces that go underneath the tailored pieces i have chosen a pink satin, pink chiffon, green chiffon, purple georgette chiffon and a purple jersey/knit. I also have a merino/nylon grey knit for my knit pieces.
